Our approach is rooted in our collaboration with healthy building experts to deliver scalable, scientifically-validated solutions designed to enhance human well-being and operational effectiveness.

    Portfolio Assessment

    In-field analysis of portfolio’s air and water quality, excess humidity and lighting conditions regarding specific indoor conditions that impact occupant health and well-being.

    Pre-Intervention Measurement

    Pre-intervention testing of portfolio’s air, water and lighting quality as well as excess humidity by the Well Living Lab™, founded as a Delos and Mayo Clinic collaboration.

    Prescription

    Specification of third-party tested health and well-being upgrades that meet or exceed national and international standards, guidelines and research-based performance thresholds for healthy indoor environments (i.e., ASHRAE, NSF, IES, EPA, WHO, CDC, WELL, etc.). The specifications are based on in-field analysis of the portfolio and pre-intervention testing.

    Installation

    Installation of upgrades in accordance with portfolio assessment, pre-intervention measurement and prescription.

    Post-Intervention Performance Validation

    Post-intervention testing (conducted by the Well Living Lab) to validate indoor environmental quality (IEQ) improvements, along with evidence-based research supporting the health and well-being benefits associated with the prescribed upgrades.

    Annual Maintenance & Performance Validation

    Annual in-field maintenance and sustainment across the portfolio (air and water filter replacements); IEQ performance testing to confirm scientific benchmarks are met or exceeded on an annual basis.

    Annual Reporting & Analysis

    Ongoing data reporting/analysis on the program’s implementation and sustainment status, annual IEQ performance reporting, end-user satisfaction metrics, and status on the pursuit of WELL Certification and/or other ratings across the portfolio, etc.

Informed by the WELL Building Standard and administered by the International WELL Building Institute, WELL for residential certification is the first and only holistic, third-party verified certification program to exclusively address health and well-being in all residence types. This certification program equips developers, builders, operators, architects and designers with more than 100 strategies to improve residents’ well-being and foster healthier environments at home.*
